Katana, Cyborg and Thin
On entry-level and mid-range gaming series, heat during heavy gaming, fan noise and performance drops are common. Thermal maintenance usually lowers temperatures.
Raider, Stealth and Titan
On these high-end models, the high-power processor and graphics card produce a lot of heat. Cooling system maintenance, power adapter and graphics card problems stand out.
Modern and Prestige
On the thin models designed for content creation and business, battery, screen and keyboard problems occur. Opening the device takes care.

Upgrades and what to bring
Most MSI gaming models have two RAM slots and one or more M.2 SSD slots, so an upgrade is usually possible. On thin models such as Modern and Prestige, the RAM may be soldered.
What to bring: Note the model name on the label under the device (for example GF63 or GL65) and the code starting with MS; we will work out parts and upgrade options from it.

About MSI service
What does Cooler Boost do on an MSI?
Cooler Boost runs the fans at full speed to temporarily increase cooling. It does not fix a temperature problem permanently; if there is dust, dried-out thermal paste or a faulty fan, hardware maintenance is needed.
The FPS drops in games on my MSI. What could be the cause?
The most common cause is the processor and graphics card automatically slowing down because of overheating. Using a low-wattage or non-original adapter can also limit performance. We check the temperatures and the adapter first.
Can an MSI graphics card fault be repaired?
On these models, the graphics card is mostly on the motherboard. The fault may be at chip level, and repair may not be possible in every case. After diagnosis, we explain the situation and the options clearly.
Can RAM or an SSD be added to an MSI?
Most MSI gaming models have two RAM slots and at least one M.2 SSD slot. With your model number, we can tell you the suitable upgrade in advance.
Is Antalya Notebook an authorised MSI service?
No. Antalya Notebook is an independent service shop and is not an authorised brand service. For devices still under warranty, work done outside an authorised service may affect the warranty terms. We recommend checking your warranty status before any work.
